The nursery is open for children ages 1-3

SMCC Music Workshop will be held this week, October 25th -27th with
the Workshop Concert on October 28th starting at 6:30PM. Our guest clinician
for the workshop is Mr. Steven Roberts, Minister of Music at Pilgrim Baptist
Church in San Mateo, CA. If you want to be a part of our Music Ministry, this is
your chance to test the waters. There is no registration fee for members.   

There is still time to sign up for our Praise Dance and Mime Ministry. Youth
ages 13-18 please come to the choir room immediately following service today
to get an overview of the structure of the Ministry and to pick up your
registration packet.  

The month of October is St. Mark Community Church Match Month. The
Church will match dollar for dollar whatever is given the month of October to go
toward our Mortgage Elimination Project.

The SMCC Ambassadors will be meeting immediately following service on
today. Ambassadors please be prepared to stay.

The Golden Links are planning a trip to the Memphis National Civil Rights
Museum on Wednesday October 25, 2017. The bus will depart from the church
parking lot at 8:00 AM. Those who are interested must be 55 years or older,
please contact Deacon Tappin after church today to sign up.

The Sunday School Ministry is excited to announce a new Sunday School
Class; the Young Adult Sunday School Class will launch on the 1st Sunday in
November 2017 at 9AM in the Administration building. The Class is designed for
young adults from ages 19 through 30. Class sessions will confront topics
concerning young adults while applying Bible scripture. The Class setting will be
light and relaxing with open discussions where everyone’s opinion is valued.
Classes will run in 6 to 8-week sessions with a brief break in between sessions.

St. Mark Community Church Family and Friends, you are invited to attend
the 13th Appreciation honoring Pastor Al and First Lady Beverly Romes on
Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM. The guest speaker is Pastor Brian
Blood of Calvary Baptist Church of McAlmont, Arkansas. Please join our First
Family in celebrating this special occasion. We will have Potlach Dinner
immediately following the service. Please see Sheila Baker if you would like to
bring a dish. If you would like to make a special love offering, make checks
payable to Pastor Al and Beverly Romes. And, as always, there is no celebration
without you.
